quick learner

Hi

Alba is the quickest learner I know and how you look at it it´s both good and bad LOL. I have thought her to put her head between my knees and I rock her head from side to side. All this things are so great to do because it makes her less claustofobic. She do this with joy and really love it. But she has turned it into a game of her own to, when I stand and fill the feeder or muck in the paddock she come and put the head between my knees but from behind aaaaaaaaaaand then rock me from side to side rofl. she is to funny.

Another think I have thought her is when I sit on the floor and want to get up I put my arm around her neck and let her help me to get up, and she is so cool about it, she just keep her head low and let me push myself up. great when she will help me up in the saddle. I just love that horse and don´t regret one day since I got her.

She`s gonna be a great companion on our journey thrue life.

Played with alba today for the first time in months, we where about to do the figure 8....... Buuuuuuut alba was having a whole different idea about it all LOL. I was doing porcubine to move her back, worked nice and then yo-yo also worked great. Buuuuuuuuuut when I should ask her to go around the first cone, OMG she went like this cone is mooooooooooore interesting then you aaaaaaaand this straw is even greater then you LOL. So there I was getting up on the phases to show her to move to the right. Ohhh Boy what did the little charmer do then? She REARED every time I ask with the carrot stick LOL. But finally after 10 times she got to the right. This thing was repeated several times. and after about 30 minutes she finally got to do one good figure 8 and then I called it the quit. She was so proud I must admitt me to LOL.

So we will do this tomorrow again and see if she is in a better mood lol

Alba´s friend Ricky

Finally Ricky is all rehabilitated from his laminitis, and he has such small and fine hooves now. It has taken about a year so it feel just great both for him and me. His little shelter has been ready for about 2 month so now he walks on one side of the paddock and Alba on the other. Once in a while I open up the fence between and let them be together every day. This has turned out to be a great alternative. He can eat the hay he need and eat straw in between, and Alba have free acsess to her hay on the other side of feeder.

And she has her shelter and Ricky have his, nice and comfy. And in the summer he will go on his side and I open up to the summer pastuer on alba´s side. and once a day I close it so they can be together.

And the great thing is that the horses feel good about it, no hard feeling because they can´t be together 24/7.

It was this or sell the little bugger, and that wasn´t an option. So all turned out great after many long thinking days.

A while ago

Hi

It was a while ago, my internet has been to slow to get the pages to work right but now I´m on my way again.

I have started my vacation 2 hours per day so now I get home at 12 noon every day until dec 30. Feel so great to be able to play with horses when it still is light out. So now the stress factor has been limited. So so great.
